This species forms groups of 20 to 30 mostly female fish, associated with large coral structures. It is often found in mixed-anthias company, with other species such as Lyretails and Cooper's. Husbandry: The Tierra Anthias thrives best in dim deep-water reef aquaria. It should be housed with other peaceful species. Aggressive tankmates may prevent the Tierra Anthias from feeding.
